The following sent to the Editor of Fish & Boat from a happy client:
Fellows, I have recently been on a charter with Scotty HILLIER on his 24 foot Kevlarcat Hook Up. It was a beautiful day about 5 knots. (Photograph of the largest just over 9 kg and an average 4.5 kg large mouth nannygai attached) Scott really looks after his crew and put us on some nice fish as per attached photograph. You do not have to touch the bait or fish unless you choose to. He looks after this and actually encourages you to chase the big ones. At one stage he put on a big live bait (about twice the size I would use) and I got dusted big time. No problem for Scott he refitted the line and shortly after I caught another live bait about the same size and he put it back on and I got dusted again. No problems he refitted again and soon after encouraged me and two others to send down another live bait. This time the baits were simply lost without disaster. His equipment includes Shimano Stella 20000 reels and are extremely smooth to use. The reels are fitted with good braid and located on quality rods. He is extremely polite and I believe would be extremely helpful to novice fishermen. He is not cheap and he will not let you take a truck load, however 4 or 5 of these fish, will fill your fridge and a bit more. Plus you will have to fight with the likes of Chinamen (or Gallopers) of enourmous size that fight all the way to the top. You may well need a drink after lifting them from 50 to 70 metres. Beware though his noises from the television do carry on the boat as well, particularly when you stop and all four anglers drop their baits and with moments of arriving at the bottom, all four were locked onto solid nannies. Thanks Scooter From Dennis DRABSCH and the rest of the crew.
